Product Description

A low-priced auto CPAP that is a favorite of our patients on the road! It is durable enough for daily use at home too. Remember this is a self-adjusting CPAP, but it is without the humidifier. You can try a nasal saline spray (over the counter product) to moisturize your nose.

XT series is one of the smallest CPAP in the market. Its palm-sized (5.8 inch by 5 inch by 3.9 inch) and lightweight (1.76 lbs) design lends itself well to travel. However, it delivers the same effective therapy as the larger machines, includes useful features like easy-to-adjust ramp settings, automatic altitude adjustment, leak compensation and data collection by SD card. And now, enhanced pressure stability and the clinically proven algorithm make the New XT series even more comfortable, with the introduction of the PVA pressure relief function.

Compact Size Built-in Power Supply Easy-to-Use Interface SD Card
XT’s palm-size design makes it easy to be packed into carry-on luggage. No need to carry an extra external power supply, which is perfect for travel.  The LCD display with backlit is clear to read, and the intuitive user interface is easy to use.  The SD card provides a simple way to record patient’s data and remotely update the pressure setting.

Auto-adjusting AlgorithmThe APEX clinically approved auto-CPAP device employs proprietary, precision algorithms to optimize treatment by adjusting air pressure to the lowest, most comfortable levels, while still maintaining effective, appropriate therapy. Clinical trials have consistently demonstrated how the APEX auto-CPAP can reduce RDI levels below 5.0 and increase SpO2 levels above 95%, while allowing patients to rest comfortably throughout the night.

I am yet to remember a patient on XT Auto with a significant residual apnea.

FAQs

- When traveling abroad, does the patient need a converter?

No, there is no need to use the converter for Apex’s CPAP systems can accept 100-240V, 50-60Hz, without any special adjustment. An international plug adapter may be required to make the power cord compatible with the power outlets of that country.

Can the patient power the device by a battery or a car adapter?
No, the XT series CPAP system doesn’t have the DC capability so it can’t be powered by a battery or a car adapter. However, it can be used with a DC to AC inverter to power on (only CPAP, not the Heated Humidifier)

-How often does the patient need to replace the filter?
The air filter should be cleaned at least once every two weeks or more often if this device is operated in a dusty environment and replaced with a new one every six months.

  1. Boxy but Small and Cheap

It is not pretty like my Dreamstation, but it does the job. I leave it in my carry-on as I travel often. A good value for the price. Will recommend highly.

  2. Cheapest Travel CPAP

Barbie (Dr. Patel's medical assistant) showed me this with and without a humidifier and Transcend Auto machine. I chose this mainly because of the cost concern and have been very pleased so far. It is small, light, and does the job. I was worried that dryness will be an issue without the humidifier, but so far so good. Thanks.
